DARRIN GURSKY, ESQ.
Partner
Mr. Gursky was admitted to the bar in October, 2002. Since being admitted he has specialized in the practice of community association law. This practice includes construction defect negotiation and litigation, turnover representation and covenant preparation and enforcement. Mr. Gursky is also proficient in association collections. He has lectured extensively on a variety of topics affiliated with community association operations, legislation and related legal rulings. He has been designated a facilitator to conduct educational programs by the State of Florida Department of Professional and Business Regulation, Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominiums and Mobile Homes. In 2010, Superlawyers recognized Mr. Gursky as a “Rising Star.”

Mr. Gursky attended Nova Southeastern Law School, graduating in 2002, with a concentration in International Law. He also attended Michigan State University, graduating 1999, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Mr. Gursky is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida.
MARNIE DALE RAGAN, ESQ.

Marnie Dale Ragan was admitted to the bar in April, 2001 and is Board Certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law. She has practiced in the area of community association law for sixteen years. Her focus includes general association operations, drafting and amending governing documents, planning and writing documents for new developments from inception to recording, revising and restating documents for existing associations, writing opinion letters on various issues, undertaking complex research for issues of first impression in communities in anticipation of litigation, reviewing and creating contracts for various association needs, undertaking covenant enforcement, and attending and running Board of Director and Membership meetings. Ms. Ragan is also proficient in association collections.
Ms. Ragan has lectured for board members and managers regarding legislative changes affecting the practice area, as well as teaching continuing education for community association managers and board certification for association board members. She has served as a guest panelist at the 2013 Ritz Carlton Residential Leadership Conference, assisting the Ritz Carlton Residential Managers to better understand the powers and limitations involved with Community Association law. Most recently, Ms. Ragan was a legal panelist at the 2018 Global Residential Leadership Conference, speaking to residential managers of luxury brands including Marriott, The Ritz Carlton, Edition, St. Regis, Bulgari, W Hotels and JW Marriott on aspects of meshing service and legal obligations. She has also presented on multiple occasions as an educator for FirstService Residential at their expositions.
Ms. Ragan attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating in December, 2000. Her undergraduate studies were completed at The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C., where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with Minors in both American History and English.
KYLE ALONSO, ESQ.

Kyle A. Alonso is an Associate Attorney at Gursky Ragan, P.A. Mr. Alonso focuses his practice primarily on Community Association Law, Transactional Law and Litigation, including Civil, Commercial, and Real Estate litigation. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 2012, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami in 2015. Mr. Alonso is admitted to practice in Florida.
Mr. Alonso is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar.
EDMY CORTIJO VILLOCK, ESQ.

Edmy Cortijo Villock is an associate with over 10 years of experience representing clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters including mediations, residential foreclosures, landlord/tenant disputes and evictions.
Prior to joining Gursky Ragan, P.A., Ms. Cortijo was Managing Attorney with a South Florida law firm specializing in foreclosures and collections, where she managed creditor/servicer representation for the firm’s Puerto Rico Foreclosure Division involving all aspects of collections, bankruptcy, eviction, title, litigation, appeals and compliance matters in state and federal courts and before the Puerto Rico Appellate and Supreme Courts. Her experience also includes representing corporate clients and government entities in cases involving joint liability lawsuits, consumer protection and trademark and infringement.
Ms. Cortijo received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2010 and Bachelor of Science, Biology, from the University of Puerto Rico in 2005.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Puerto Rico and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
Ms. Cortijo is fluent in Spanish.

Christian A. Triay is an Associate Attorney at Gursky Ragan, P.A. Mr. Triay focuses his practice primarily on Commercial Litigation and Construction Defect Litigation. Mr. Triay has experience representing clients in Florida state and federal courts and as to a diverse range of subject matters, including matters relating to contractual disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, and condominium related litigation. Mr. Triay earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida State University in 2015 and a Juris Doctor from the Nova Southeastern Law School in 2019. He is currently admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Triay is also a member of the Florida Bar and the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar.
